Fluke was one of 8 global sponsors at the 39th WorldSkills Competition (held in Numazu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan from 14-21 November).Over four days of competition over 800 competitors drawn from 47 member countries/regions tested themselves against tough international standards in 47 key skills and technologies watched by over 200,000 visitors.
The medals, awards and certificates have all been given out and the Competitors have all returned to their home country to go back to practicing their skill. Fluke has awarded prizes to Gold/Silver and Bronze winners in 7 competitions.
For over 50 years, WorldSkills has become the symbol of excellence in vocational training. Every two years hundreds of young skilled people gather from around the world to compete in various trades and to test themselves against international standards.
